Books on my immediate TBR

Hello beautiful book people,

It has been a while since I have been on here due to laptop issues. But I am back (using my sister’s computer). This is the computer everyone uses for school/ work so I never get time on it EVER!  My sister was just using it for online browsing and I had to drag her out of the chair!

Do you ever wish there was more hours in the day because yes! There are way too many books and so little time!

Lets talk immediate TBR! Do you have one?

I made a list of books I want to read soon, I am itching to pick them up but life has been hectic and it’s also Ramadan and during this holy month, I tend to prioritise reading the Quran and Islamic books over fiction.

1. Witches Steeped in Gold

I am so excited to read this witchy book! the cover is absolutely stunning, I love the gold foil. Do you have this on your tbr?

2. For the Wolf

I love the dark Beauty and the Beasts this is giving me with a touch of Little Red Riding hood vibes! This one sounds so good, I was so excited when I received an early proof from Orbit books!

3. Rumaysa

A retelling of the classic fairy tales but muslim! We love to see it! I got a signed copy from my local waterstones when shops opened in the UK this week! It also has beautiful illustrations! I will be gifting a copy to my nieces for Eid!

4. We free the Stars

So you probably know We Hunt the Flame is one of my favourite books! YES I still have not read the sequel. I need to get to this ASAP!

5. The Prison Healer

I hear nothing but good things and it’s also blurbed by SJM so I can’t wait for all these twists and turns I keep hearing about!

6. Six of Crows

You all must know by now Grishaverse is getting a tv adaption. It will be on Netflix next week! I want to read the books before watching the show! I have Ruin and Rising left and the Six of Crows duology! I can’t deal with how amazing the trailers look and the actors *heart eyes*!!! Who else is looking forward to the show?

So these are some of the books I’m hoping to get to soon! I feel like there’s a reading slump coming for me, I have not read since the beginning of this month.

How do you stop yourself from falling into a slump? Do you reread a favourite or maybe a romance? A good romance always gets me out of my slump!

Until next time,

Asmaa.
