November Wrap up

Hello everyone!!!

How are you all? I see everyone who celebrates Christmas getting festive so I guess it is goodbye Autumn and hello Winter. Let the holiday vibes begin! I don’t celebrate Christmas but I do love the cosy holiday vibes! Alright let’s get started with this small wrap up!!

If you have been reading all my wrap ups, you’ll know I’ve been reading 8-12 books a month. Guess how many books I read this month though?

ONE.

*GASP*

I know! I hit another level of a book slump. I just couldn’t read, no matter how much I tried. I started The Starless Sea and I’m almost half way through, same with Fix Her Up but I haven’t managed to finish them both yet. I’m loving it but why can’t I seem to finish. I don’t know.

I only read my first book half way through November and I feel like the book itself made my book slump even worse.

The book I read was: Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin

I am sad to say I didn’t enjoy this book as much as everyone else seemed to have. You can find my little review here.

A friend said to me to read a book I loved and maybe you’ll get back into the reading mood and I thought that was a really good idea. What better than to reread one of my favourite series and finally finish them! I will be rereading:

  1. Queen of shadows
  2. Empire of Storms

Then I’ll be continuing with the series and completing the rest of the books

3. Tower of Dawn

4. Kingdom of Ash.

I’m getting a chill inside my body thinking about reading Kingdom of Ash and finally finishing one of my favourite series, I still don’t think I’m ready for that but I want to know what happens. I need my dose of SJM! (I don’t know how I managed to avoid spoilers for this long!!!)

That is my TBR for this month, I’m not worried about my Goodreads challenge for once in my life because I finished it quite a while ago! This month I am just going to cry and drown in feels as I finish one of my favourite series!!!

Until next time,

Asmaa.
