Wow so the first month of 2016 has gone already!

This month wasn’t really a good reading month for me, I only read Heir of fire, which took me so long and put me in a slump. Not because it wasn’t good, it was AMAZING but due to a lot of world building, it just took me a while to finish it. I actually have a review written down and will be posting that soon!

I bought a total of 5 books this month:

I got the trilogy The wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Stiefvater for only £3.50 from the works. What a bargain right?!

I also purchased two V.E Schwab books: A darker shade of magic and Vicious. Both have been on my TBR for quite some time and from all the good reviews, I’m so excited to read both!

  1. I’m loving the colour coordination of your book haul! Let me know how you get on with A Darker Shade of Magic if you end up reading it before I do – I’m really excited about that one! I’m definitely going to check out Vicious too! Look forward to your review of Heir of Fire, I loved that book. 🙂

      1. It does! Also I just saw on Twitter today that it has been optioned for TV, and that the author is writing the pilot, which is pretty exciting!! Looking forward to your review 🙂 And yesss, so true – have you started Queen of Shadows yet? I am already so excited for the next book! 😀

      2. OH MY GOD I HEARD THAT TOO!!! I’m so excited! yep I have I’m on I think chapter 10, Chaol and Celaena make my heart hurt 😦 and me too!!! I’m looking forward to the title, and the cover I’m so curious to know what the title will be ahhhh!

OMG, I know exactly what you mean – I spent so much of that book wanting to shake Chaol, like ‘STOP BEING SO MEAN TO HER YOU’RE ON THE SAME SIDE!!’ 😦 I am very excited for the cover and title reveal. Have you read A Court of Thorns and Roses? This is still on my TBR, but planning on starting it next week 😀

      7. Haha ok cool, sounds good. I have a crazy busy February, so maybe in March? 🙂 I can’t believe the next book comes out in May, and I’ve left it so long to read the first one!
